Hard to get a good recording of it but clear as day in person, I assume truss rod rattle? Checked braces, piezo system, bridge bolts,tuning machine ferrules all seem tight, anything else to check off? And as for fixes, what to y'all prefer these days?

Greetings y'all. A customer brought in a sitar to the shop recently. It had loose frets, missing frets, no strings, missing tuning beads, and the few frets remaining on the neck do not appear to be in proper placement. Has anyone ever worked with one? Or repaired one? I'd be ever so grateful for any help or direction. I know about retying frets when they come loose, and I can string and tune one. However starting from scratch is…

I am not sure these are available anymore. Company in Germany, I believe, and it looks like they are not shipping. Not much info on the web other than distaste for the idea of a tuning system by Gibson owners. Anyone know where to source these? If not, I may just have to make one.
